Build a regional communications network. Connect demand nodes to POPs/NOCs and keep service healthy.
Build: Place a NOC, then connect POPs to the NOC with Backhaul before serving other nodes.
Backbone rule: Demand nodes only earn service if they can reach a POP or NOC.
Alternate paths: Linking nodes to other already-connected nodes can reduce latency and add redundancy.
Microwave: Links over 32 tiles are not allowed. Use shorter hops or fiber.
Ground Stations: Must be placed within 15 tiles of a POP/NOC.
Satellite: Requires a Ground Station within 15 tiles of a POP/NOC, plus a fiber link from that Ground Station to a NOC. Then click a demand node to toggle service.
Overlays: Use Capacity/Latency/Coverage to find bottlenecks and outages.
Income: Keep nodes connected to earn revenue; add links to relieve congestion.
Refunds: Right-click a newly placed building within 20 seconds to undo and refund it.
Note: Type "comms" for a small surprise.
